Sorry if this has been covered but I was wondering if there was any premium on Red Overprint lines (either squiggly or rectangular) when the Red OP is off center and the original Factory #'s show? So in effect you might have a Sweet Caporal 150 Factory 649 and then beneath it you can see a partial Factory 30 because the Red OP is mis-aligned. I'm thinking "No" but I am curious if people collect these "Red OP" mis aligned prints? Thanks in advance!

Technically no additional value but there are some collectors that still will pay a small premium. Especially if both factory numbers are completely separate.

I would pay a small premium as I think they look cool.

Ron and Leon,
Thanks for the responses.......although it appears I will not spend my days in Bermuda on these little anomalies......I might be able to buy myself a dinner at a "kind of an almost fancy" restaurant in town! ![]() I appreciate it as always! Take care! Peace, Mike Last edited by vthobby; 02-28-2020 at 07:44 AM. |

Here is a 350-460 card that missed the overprint altogether...for a while I thought I had a previously unavailable card!
