Default Carstairs Connie Mack

Has anyone ever seen one of these 1940's Carstairs Connie Mack Greatest Baseball Team banners?

I'd like to get one, the only one on ebay is Deans Cards at $110. So anywhere else it only sells for $45-55.

It's missing the finials that attach to the wooden dowel on either side. The rope is then tied to those missing finials.

So it's an incomplete piece. In nice condition (and complete) this piece should sell for $75 - $100, max. The Dean's example should be priced under $50. I would wait for a better example, at a better price.

Hunt's tends to feature them quite frequently (in their Monthly Internet/Phone Auctions). And another should turn up on eBay within the next 3 months or so.

Patience would be a virtue, in this case!

This is just a great looking piece. Would like to own one. But the price must be right. Mark, thanks for the reply.

I like the look of that piece. It's interesting (to me, at least) that historians have updated the lifetime stats for six of those players.

It's a great looking piece. I seen a different banner by Carstairs which is also interesting.
