November Pickup Thread
Happy to start the month off with some Catfish Hunter win ticket stubs.
First one, Aug 15, 1965 had a pretty good attendance of 21,441 and saw Jim win his 4th career game. Second is from Oct 2, 1966 at Tiger Stadium. Only 5,364 saw Jim win his 15th big league game. Third is from Sept 27, 1969 in which he won his 53rd career game in front of only 5,468 fans. The last two are significant because of their low attendance...both having almost a thousand less in attendance than when Catfish pitched his perfect game. Many of his early win tickets are a challenge due to such poor attendance, so I rate this a pretty good weekend.
