Historically significant 1947 Doby/Veeck orig photo
Historically significant July 1947 press photo with tag. Very very nice condition with only minor wear mention for the sake of accuracy. Larry Dolby and Bill Veeck smiling after Doby just signed with Cleveland as the first African-American player in the American League. Jackie started the ball rolling in the National League and in the majors and Bill Veeck continued it rolling with his signing of the great Larry Doby.
