I had an item, most likely one of a kind, listed on eBay for about a year with no offers or much interest. A friend saw it and told me it was priced too low and I was devalueing it. He suggested I take it down for a while and relist for 5 times my original price of $50. I actually relisted it for $299 and within hours I had 2 offers and ended up selling the item for $250.
Do you guys think this was a fluke or is there something to this selling strategy? I understand it wouldn't work for items that have an established value like graded cards. |
