REA Fall Auction Ends TODAY! Important Closing Reminders Inside!

Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that the REA Fall Auction ends TODAY and time is running out to place your initial bids.

New registrations are still being accepted from board members so you can sign up here if needed.

In response to feedback from customers, we have made two slight changes this auction that we will use going forward and encourage you to be mindful of to ensure you are not shut out during the final day:

1) The deadline for initial bids has been extended to 6 PM EST on Sunday, October 28. You must place at least one qualifying bid prior to 6 PM EST on any item you are interested in pursuing during extended bidding.

2) The extended bidding period will begin at 6 PM EST and continue until no bids have been placed in the entire auction for a period of 5 (five) minutes. The entire auction closes at once; we do not utilize a lot by lot closing. We reserve the right to manually end the auction at any time after 10 PM EST without regard for the 5 minute rule. Under no circumstances will the auction continue beyond 12 AM Midnight EST.

It is important to note that past auction trends regarding pace of bidding or closing time may not hold true for this auction. We encourage all bidders to monitor the activity using our Recent Bids page and to be mindful of e-mail notices that will be sent out during extended bidding and in advance of closing. There will be a final Fair Warning e-mail sent to all active bidders tomorrow night notifying them that the auction may end at any time without further warning. We discourage bidders attempting to "snipe" the auction closing based on when past auctions ended, and we encourage bidders to use the "Honest Auto Bid" feature at all times but especially once the Fair Warning is sent out so that they may avoid disappointment.

We are expecting a very spirited extended bidding period tomorrow night as there are already a record number of bidders participating. We thank everyone for their participation and we wish you all luck in the auction!
