Hello I posted photos from a scrapbook that is filled with mostly Baseball Magazine Back page photos. but had 4 R310 Butterfingers. The page with the Foxx R310 has a cut autograph mounted. Since it did not match up with the Facsimile auto in the butterfinger I never gave it much thought. But I have owned a couple Foxx Autos and had some time to study many examples. Still unsure but would appreciate opinions.

Not my living, but it doesn't look like a proper Foxx to me.

It's so far off that I doubt whether it was even intended to be a forgery.
I think some kid simply wrote Foxx' name on a piece of his school binder paper. It fails to possess any characteristics which emulate Jimmie Foxx' signature in any way. Last edited by perezfan; 10-02-2018 at 04:25 PM. |

Agreed. Looks like a kid may have tried to copy his sig.
