Was Elvis a Pedophile?

I was reading the above article last night and I was surprised by some of the things the author wrote (Trina Young). She stated the following:

Elvis, who was 25 years old at the time, preferred younger women. He had just left a 14-year-old girl he had been dating named Priscilla Beaulieu in Germany and returned to his 22-year-old girlfriend in Memphis, Anita Wood. In addition, he would soon start casually dating another 14-year-old, Sandy Ferra, during his downtime in Hollywood.

14 years old? I have been an Elvis fan my whole life and I never knew this!

Now here are my questions: was he a pedophile or is this article false? If he did like little girls, then did he get away with it because he was the king of rock n' roll or was it because the laws were too lenient back then?

My uncle, who is now 64, told me when he was a kid, moms would tell their daughters when they were 14 to start looking for a husband.

He was 18 or 19 and his now wife was 14 when they were dating. And got married and are still married.

You do realize that the 14 year old in question became his wife (Priscilla Presley) Though she was 22 when they married.

I heard that too Peter and was shocked. 13 is incredibly young for motherhood. In fact, I think she was in her late 12's (a couple of months before she turned 13) when she gave birth.
