I’m not real familiar with bats. I have this one but can’t seem to find anything about the company or the bat. It reads “Globe Sporting Goods MFG CO. Made in the USA. Globe Driver. Boston Mass”. Any ideas?

It looks like Globe Sporting Goods was around in the 1940s and 1950s. I've found ads for them on newspapers.com.
An interesting side note: In Alan Rosen's famous 1952 Topps baseball card find, the case the cards were in was addressed to Globe Sporting Goods Mfg. Co., 116 Merrimac St, Boston 14, MA. Steve

Here's a link to a reference I found (go down to the picture of the bat label):
http://www.vintagebaseballgloveforum...hp?f=10&t=4980 And another one: http://keymancollectibles.com/privat...seballbats.htm I also saw where Paul Fusco Auctions sold a "Globe Rocket" bat in August, 2011: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item...ore-model-bats Steve
