Topps Heritage Redemption - thoughts?
The only new cards I have collected are Topps Heritage sets (and I stopped in 2016). I pulled a 2016 redemption card for a dual autograph of Juan Marichal and Brandon Belt. I still have not received it yet. I know that Topps will let me substitute for a different autograph. Has anyone requested a substitute and been pleased/displeased with what you received? What would you do if you were in my shoes?

General advice you'd get on Blowout (where the modern collectors hang out) is that if you want the card, you should not ask for a different redemption and wait. However, you can also ask for specific players if you try to substitute. So if you can request a similar price signer that you think Topps has in stock, put in a request.

No guarantee if you substitute that it will be from any specific set, unless you negotiate that with Topps directly. Could just be a single-signed card. You could probably request they give you back a heritage auto though (Bench?).
