T206 uses as playing cards ?

I just picked this card up and I remember years ago reading about how back in the day they used cigarette cards as playing cards? 1. Does anyone remember or have that article? 2. Does anyone have any more cards like the one I bought ?

I've seen quite a few of them. There was a seller on ebay that sold a bunch
of them in single auctions a few years ago.

I noticed those cards up for sale and they are very intriguing to say the least. Definitely a true piece of history. I can only imagine the story behind them. Great pick up.

They were probably fill-ins because there were sets of playing cards that would come in tobacco packs as well:

No, those are from 20 years earlier. However, there were also contemporary playing card sets (at least in England). I was just linking that as an example. There seem to be a few N-card sets with playing cards (Kinney, Hard-A-Port, etc).
