Hi All,
I'm looking to buy my first BR ball and although the signature is very faint (almost unreadable) I'm interested in it for the name it's inscribed to and the date written on the ball as both are in my family. I missed out on this last year at auction and it has come up on eBay, the seller might indeed be on this forum so any info would be greatly appreciated. As it's mainly the date written that I am drawn to, I am curious as to why a 1930 date would be written on a supposed game used 1927 ball? What are your thoughts on this? Much appreciated. |
