I'm interested in this ball and was wondering if anyone could clear something up for me. The description leads me to believe this baseball was the baseball thrown out for the first pitch by Joe Louis. It mentions the first pitch and this baseball being retrieved. But the baseball is an International League ball. Is it normal practice for an International league ball to be used as the first pitch baseball of a World Series game?
