I've recently acquired documents(2) that was sent from the Yankees Organization to Ban Johnson. The documents were letters discussing the sale of Wally Pipp and others from the Tigers to the Yankees (dated Feb 15, 1915). Anyone have experience working with items of this nature. It came to me from Pipps grand daughter who lives here in Grand Rapids, MI (which is where Wally Pipp is from).
