Hello ive just getting delivered after 6 months and waiting for Jeter to sign a 3000 Hit Club Baseball. With 21 now signed Pete Rose, LOU BROCK, RICKEY HENDERSON, HANK AARON, DAVE WINFIELD, ROD CAREW, ALEX RODRIGUEZ (A-ROD), WILLIE MAYS, PAUL MOLITOR, ROBIN YOUNT, WADE BOGGS, CRAIG BIGGIO, AL KALINE, CARL YASTRZEMSKI (YAZ), CAL RIPKEN JR, RAFAEL PALMEIRO, EDDIE MURRAY, TONY GWYNN (d. 2014), STAN MUSIAL (d. 2013), GEORGE BRETT. Derek Jeter last finally. Anybody have any idea what would be worth i will keep and get Ichiro to sign once he makes it this year as he has only 50 to go?????

3,000 hit baseballs with most of those that you mention are not especially uncommon, even with Gwynn and Musial. Having Jeter onm the ball takes it to another level though, although I am sure you had to pay through the nose to get him on the ball. If you get Ichiro now, there is always the slight risk that his leg falls off or something and he never quite reaches 3,000...which would hurt the value of the ball. But assuming he makes it and you get him on the ball, that would cretainly be quite a ball!!
However, because I'm sure you had to pay through the nose to get Jeter on it, I am not sure if you will recoup the money you put into it. As long as these guys keep signing (and Gwynn and Musial signed a bunch of items with these guys before they passed away), I just don't see a big profit there. It is far more desireable with Jeter on it no doubt, but the price you likely had to pay to get him on it might negate any profit you might hope to make. Would love to see the ball. Tom C |

I think that's a pretty high estimate. I'd guess closer to $500 or $600

To me this is a baseball that YOU want to have in your collection because you desire to have it NOT for value or resale . The single signed baseballs of these players in a 3000 hit display will always be worth more than a single ball signed by all these players.
That being said IMO the ball is worth 500-800 dollars . Ichiro would add maybe 100 dollars more in value provided there is still room on the ball for him to sign it. |

Yes the Derek Jeter signature cost me 600$ alone to get through Steiner on the sendins. Will send some pictures once i get them. Each individual name to get signed not including Jeter @ 1500$ is 75$ but will hold onto ball, as looks like Ichiro should be able to make 3000 hits this year as long as nothing tragic happens.
