Default FS: 1924 E137 Zeenut (PCL) Partial Set (89/144) **Fun Project**

FS: 1924 E137 Zeenut (PCL) Partial Set (89/144) **Fun Project**

Available for sale is very rare opportunity to get a jump start on an extremely fun set to put together. The 1924 Zeenut set features 144 players from the Pacific Coast League teams. Available in this lot are 89 of the possible 144 cards, leaving only 55 cards needed for the set. There are star cards in this lot albeit not the biggest names (Waner, Cochrane-Portland, and Yellowhorse).

Great jumping off point for someone looking for a fun project. No Zeenut set is easy to collect and many are actually impossible as certain sets have key rarities that number in the single digits of total known copies. The 1924 set has no legendary rarities so it is actually completeable, that being said there are quite a few rarity levels within the set, but just enough to make it fun. Patience will be needed.

Condition is pretty typical for Zeenut accumulations or perhaps slightly nicer overall, about half of this grouping is better than you normally see and then there are also some cards that could use a good upgrade. I am going to post pictures of all 89 players + I will throw in a clipped coupon as well making this a collection of 90 items

Also I want to note that several of the really tough cards within the 1924 set ARE INCLUDED here, this isn't an accumulation of the 89 easiest to find cards. Several of the cards included are among the toughest 10-20 cards in the set. Notable examples of tougher cards contained in this lot are Fritz Coumbe, Hal Rhyne, Andrew Bernard (nice card), Rube Foster, Dee Walsh, Frank Shellenback, Buzz Arlett, Tom Hughes(LA), Harry Krause (T206 subject), Johnny Frederick, Cedric Durst, Fred Gunther, John Jones, Joe Wilhoit, and Norbert Paynter.

I am asking $1525 shipped for the lot, which equates to roughly $15 a card. Pretty rare & fairly priced opportunity for anyone that ever thought of trying a Zeenut set. A set like this is what got me started collecting the Zeenut series, which I think is one of the funnest series to collect. Also, keep in mind that 70-80% of the players from the old PCL had spent time or would spend time in the Major Leagues. See below the images for a complete list of the players you will get

One and only BUMP.

If there are no takers at this low of a price I'll just put them back into my collection. Pretty fun start to a set that would be neat to complete with some time and patience.
