Hi all,
To those of you who collect and display pennants...how are you displaying them? Right now I've got a bunch of the hard plastic sleeves, but they look cheesy to me. Custom framing is a little pricey. Has anyone come up with an economical but good-looking option for displaying? I love my pennants, but this is such a pain, I'm thinking about scaling them back. |

I don't think framing is worth the money unless it is an oversized or big ticket item. I think the hard top loaders display and protect pennants well. Some people (including myself) will use very small nails to mount the top loader on the wall. I think this works great and doesn't look bad. I generally steer clear or things that look cheesy, but the too loader is clear, cheap, and doesn't take away from the item being displayed. I think a no brainer for pennants that fit.

I loaded them into a top loader and then used Velcro (Hook and Loop for you prior military folks) disks to attach them to the wall. It allowed me to easily change the pennants with very little work, didn't put a hole in the wall or your toploader, and looked nice. You can strategically place the disks so you don't see them when displayed.

^^^ my way is similar, but mine can't be "swung out" because they have two points of attachment. I can unclip them if needed. How about a closer look at your system? Are you using something similar to this?

Yes, our approach is very similar. Very easy to detach and move pennants. Found the hanger clips on ebay.

Thanks guys...Rob, your way looks like a possibility for me. What are you using to hang them, exactly?
