Etiquette Question - post-auction (ebay) commentary
A fairly interesting auction concluded earlier today. As much as I wanted to win it - it would have been my first purchase in nearly two years and it was right at the crosshairs of my collecting focus - I was seriously outbid.
I would like to talk about the particulars (and I would be surprised if other members weren't also participating in the auction) but I also, considering the possibility that a Net54er won it, want to give the winner a chance to broach the subject (and possibly receive their winnings and inspect the item first). What is the etiquette on these things? How long is long enough to wait for the winner to make an appearance?
