Open For Bidding - Love of the Game Fall, 2016 Auction

Hi Everyone:

Hope all is well.

Just wanted to pass along a quick note on the memorabilia side that LOTG's Fall, 2016 Premier Auction is open for bidding. This auction has a ton of memorabilia - 200 lots, mainly prewar, including a bunch of nice Yankees material, some important vintage tickets, and lots of quality autographs.

Some of my favorite items are an original Graig Kreindler painting of Christy Mathewson, Matty's WWI garment bag and a collection of documents relating to his assignment and discharge from the military. There's also some great Highlanders pieces, and my favorite memorabilia piece - a full ticket from Game 7 of the 1934 World Series, plus signed 3x5 cards from Marv Owen and Joe Medwick. Probably my favorite baseball season of all time.
