I saw the new Ben Affleck movie The Accountant today. There's a scene where he's in his motorhome where he's stashed all his valuables in case he needs to get out of town quick. He opens a drawer and inside are stacks of hundred dollar bills, passports, foreign currency, gold bars and guess what else? Yep neatly stacked and graded mint investment grade vintage baseball cards (and some comic books too!)
Cards have officially hit mainstream Hollywood as liquid assets.... :-)
