I'm a HUGE Mike Trout fan - BPIB = best player in baseball, according to many - including myself, in many ways...
but... w/o going into WAR / etc. stats, Miguel Cabrera (late bloomer in 2016??? perhaps thru today), ain't too shabby - his numbers don't exactly suck: 25 HR, 70 RBI, .308 avg., superior to Trout, minus *perhaps* SABR, etc. stats, *disclaimer: haven't done too much research via SABR / baseballreference.com, for example, re: comparisons, but... NOT looking to start a sh**storm with the either guy, but...thoughts from the perhaps more SABR / comprehensive new-age stats-minded peanut gallery??? but...at least in MY mind, Miggy's making an argument - happy to respectfully disagree as well. curious for input.
