I've heard that a #106 Leo Durocher exists. Legend has it this was a pre production card. Conspiracy theory holds that it was pulled to create the gap that drove kids nuts and was finally handled with the Lajoie Mail in. Does anyone know where this card is today? Is it privately held in a vault or circulating ? Are there other rare / odd 1933 goudeys out there? I've seen a couple proofs on the web but that's it.
I've been collecting this set since the early 90s and am hoping to find more mountains to conquer in the 33 set rather than pivoting to the 34 set for new action (though that could be fun too). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
