1922 st. Louis browns uniform
I hope someone can give me some information about a St. Louis Browns uniform with hat I recently acquired(see pictures below). It has the name Severeid embroidered on the jersey and pants(pants also has 1922). I have the original Rawlings box and it has writing on the top that reads "Got this uniform about 1960 from Cardinals(Mr Busch) after All-Star game in St. Louis". The box also has Mr. Severeid's address in San Antonio hand written on it. I found an old panoramic photo of the team in uniform and everything seems to match the one that I have.
My question- is this a vintage uniform from 1922 or one that was made on or around 1960. Do the labels look original? It looks to be legitimate to me although I do not think it was ever worn in a game. Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance! Lou
