Was looking at the variety of Clemente 56 Topps cards on eBay and was really struck by the variations in color of Clemente's face in various cards. In some he is very dark and in others rather light skinned. Maybe this is just a product of normal print variations between cards, but was wondering if there was ever lightening done by card companies with regard to black or Hispanic players for whatever reason. Has anyone seen anything on this issue?
