The Schoolboy Rowe is an R309-2, 1935 Goudey Premium.

The Dizzy piece is from the Metropolitan Clothing Cardinals set of 1931. Nice item!

Just an FYI - the Dean is a rookie piece, you could probably get a couple of hundred dollars for it from a HOF Rookies collector if in decent shape.

Thank you Phil. I did some quick research on the Dizzy Dean issue after the folks above informed me what set it was from. Quite pleased to find out indeed that this is considered a Dizzy Dean RC!! It is in great shape, no tears, no creases.

Paper stock. If you're familiar with the Sporting News or Baseball Magazine premiums, I'd say the Metropolitan issue is comparable in this regard.

Depending on how open-minded you wish to be, they could be considered a premium, a "card" or a 7X9 photo. It's a very interesting regional issue.

Yes, the two in the photo above are both slighter thicker than paper stock. The Schoolboy Rowe is glossy though, more like a photo while the Dean is flat.

As for the 309-2 Schoolboy Rowe, it’s tough to value. That is a tough set to complete because those are pretty rare. But in my opinion their rarity works against their popularity. If you put it up for auction I would estimate you would get anywhere from $40 to $120 out of it, depending on if you had a set builder or two competing for it. That one looks pretty crease and tear free, which is hard to come by for those thin ‘cards’. The Mel Ott from that set is one of the most expensive single player items, and there are two team cards (Washington and Cleveland I think) that are REALLY tough.
