Hey all! I'm planning on getting some autographs at the National this year on some rookie cards. I'd like to start looking for and picking out the cards I'd like to get signed, but it makes it tough to budget when the prices aren't released until June! So, I didn't know if anybody has any knowledge (from past experience or whatever) to ballpark the prices for the following guys I'd like to get sigs from…
Patrick Ewing Walt Frazier Johnny Bench Rod Carew Frank Robinson Dennis Rodman Reggie Jackson Mariano Rivera Lou Brock Al Kaline Ozzie Smith Thanks for any help anybody could provide (: |

Kaline signs through the mail for $10 (cash only) although I've heard he has a nicer signature if you pay more to get him at a show. I have the figure of $40-50 stuck in my head; I can't remember which show I saw him advertised at that rate though.

Complete Guess based on past signings:
Patrick Ewing - $145-$175 (Make sure you are getting a decent signature before paying this amount.) Walt Frazier - Call it $100, can't remember one at the moment. Johnny Bench - $50-$75 Rod Carew - $50-$75 Frank Robinson - $50-$75 Dennis Rodman - $40-$50 Reggie Jackson - $90-$125 Mariano Rivera - He's been in the $300 range. I'm assuming at least $179 (he might cut a deal since it's not Steiner, but probably closer to $300). Lou Brock - $50-$75 Al Kaline - $75-$100 Ozzie Smith - $50-$75

Reggie is always too expensive. Mo could be $250ish. I think you are high on Frazier, he's gonna be $59-69 by my guess. Also, price will GREATLY depend on item being signed. Flats and balls are cheaper, equipment will always cost more. |
