Now this is a pre-war subject worthy of discussion on the main board.
An SGC A, t206 Wagner sells for over $2.5mm in Heritage last night. Wow.... https://sports.ha.com/itm/baseball-c...=MyBids-101116 Is this the new baseline for a Wagner or is this case of a bidding war gone to extreme? Was it Heritage (vs a different AH), or the card’s provenance, or any other unique factor? Personally, I feel that if a Mike Trout goes for $2mm (even a “1 of 1”), than this is very a correct price for a t206 Wagner; that said, I don’t see how/why the Trout would go for $2mm. Anyway, an authentic t206 Wagner closing at over $2.5mm is worthy of discussion on the hobby’s largest vintage chat board. So let’s discuss..... |
