The ball itself looks VERY strange and not real vintage aging. It is the weirdest coloring I have seen on a supposed vintage baseball.
The Gehrig looks pretty bold so my thought would be......If this seller really thought it was real, why wouldn't he get it verified by TPGs and basically double or triple its potential? Also, if a guy consigned it, why is there no backstory or provenance? I do not like it. Just my opinion. Thanks, Mike |

If I were selling the ball and knew that it was real l would have more than 2 crappy photos of it and it sure as hell wouldn't be a 1 day auction.

Ebay seller Jwilligaf (seller of the Gehrig forgery) has sold numerous forgeries in the past.
He has sold Mickey Mantle forgeries using copies of the old Scoreboard COA. He knows exactly what he sold. |

why anyone would bid on a ball looking like that is beyond me....the photos are about as weird as you can get when trying to list an autographed baseball.
