When T207 brown borders are found in great condition, they are truly a thing of beauty.
Some have withstood the test of time better than others, with very little cracking to the glaze surface on the card fronts. Whereas, others have developed a "hazing to the glazing." Anyone have a theory as to why some have become cloudy with regards to the glaze surface? Is it moisture, sun, bad glaze or all of the above? Thanks, Patrick Last edited by Vintagecatcher; 09-21-2015 at 05:42 PM. |

Heres some beaters I just picked up today . Seems like the finish is crackly or almost leather like . Maybe they were meant to look like that with the Brown background .
