Not "his" but a high school starting with I. So if you know it's Michigan, then check how many towns in Michigan start with I.

Logic would dictate that the "HIS" is actually a school that starts with "I" surrounded by HS for high school. Going by this logic you are actually looking for a school that has the initials I.H.S.

If this is actually Michigan, the only two accredited school districts at the time I can think of at that time being able to uniform an organized team would be Ionia or Ithaca high schools.

There were others, but they would have been very small schools.

Just a guess, I won't testify under oath...lol.

Octavio-
I believe it to be worth about 50.00 at most. A collector from Michigan might want it, but in general basketball collecting, it is downgraded for being a high school team, and because it is from 1912, as opposed to 1902. In general, it would have to either look amazing or be pre 1905ish (pre 1900 can go really high) to reach more than 50.00. College, semi pro, and pro teams will also command better prices. It is a cool photo no matter what.
