Upcoming Heritage Photo Auction
I have been perusing the offerings in this auction ending August 14. In so doing I have noticed something that leads me to a question. Many of the photographs are listed as "Original Photograph," while others are listed as "Original News Photograph." Most all of them are listed as Type 1 PSA/DNA. Is there a major difference between the photographs and news photographs? Admittedly, I am new to vintage photography and am trying to learn. I thought maybe what Heritage called news photograph might have been the same as wire photo? Either way, each type is very appealing. I would appreciate any clarification.
