As Stanton has a good chance at 30 home runs by the All Star break, would you consider him the home run champ if he beats Maris's 61?
We know that Bonds, McGuire and Sosa, while amazing home run hitters were obviously juiced, I think the record is still 61 regardless. The juiced record is Bonds but the clean record is Maris, and we supposedly are back to clean. I think it will be exciting if he can chase it down legitimately. |
