I think the font of "American League Ball" was changed to that script in 1926. "The Cork Center" was also changed to "The Cushioned Cork Center" the same year so your ball shows a mis-match.
Is that the "th" of a Ruth signature on the side? Also the seams look awfully wide which makes me think it's a reproduction.
