Kaline and Pesky Identification Help

Hi-
I purchased the Al Kaline and Johnny Pesky blank backed items scanned below about a year ago. Does anyone know what set these are from? What year? The images look early, but I am guessing these were made in the late 1960s or later. They are slightly thicker than photos, and measure roughly 8 by 10 (I do not have them handy right now to check the measurements, so they might be a bit smaller or larger).

My Dad worked at the Chicago Tribune throughout the 40's, 50's and 60's and would occasionally bring home photos that the paper kept on file in case they needed to have one to go along with a story. (They called it the "morgue"). From time to time they would thin their collection out, and my Dad would bring home ones he found interesting. They looked a lot like what you have shown here - with the name typed on the bottom, and were on 8x10 thick photo stock. So it is possible that these came from some newspaper somewhere.
