Hi, I am by no means an expert on Weil Baking cards, but it looks to me like lot #193 is incorrectly graded and incorrectly identified by Goodwin. I sent Goodwin an email approximately 3 weeks ago but I have not received a response.
PSA and Goodwin identify this card as a 1916 D329 card #163. Card # 163 in the D329 set is Burt Shotten. Card #163 in the 1917 D328 set is Elmer Smith. The size of the card in the holder is the giveaway. The card nearly fills the holder, while a D329 is much smaller and would fit the holder more like a T206 fits the holder. So, it looks like the winner of the D329 actually received a D328. This seems like a good deal to me, since the D328's are more difficult to find. The scans below are 2 of my cards, not the card in the auction. Here is the link - http://www.goodwinandco.com/catalog.aspx Rick

You are correct, the card is incorrectly labeled--Smith is not even in the d329 set. SGC is not immune from messing up the Weil cards either. According to their pop reports, they have graded card #7 HD Baird, yet Baird in fact should be #8 in D329 and #10 in D328.
I doubt the label fooled anyone-- apart from the card size the two sets don't look that much alike to those who collect them--only a handful of D329s have an artificial looking background with I believe only one looking similar to a D328 (Strunk). I am also not convinced it was that great a deal, although if you're a set collector and need the card I can understand the price. The card has minor surface issues on the front and scrapbook residue on the back. You are right though, it is less plentiful than the d329.
