My gut reaction says don't mess with this based on some threads I've seen about this company's game-used stuff, but: 1) The ridiculously generic COA aside, the signature looks correct 2) Knoblauch wasn't a huge signer, so it's difficult to find signed bats, with good first person authentication (MLB, Tristar, Steiner, etc.), at a good price 3) Knoblauch gives a signed bat to Andruw Jones, who then consigns his personal collection to this company. Kind of a "who would make this up" scenario, especially with someone in as low demand as Knoblauch. If I was to buy, this is textbook "buy the auto, not the authenticator." Just curious if anyone has dealt with this company before, or has any personal opinions on what's being advertised here. Honest opinions appreciated, you won't offend me, that's why I'm asking.

From my understanding, this company is legit and buys collections from various current and past major leaguers. I get emails from them all the time about collections they've purchased from players such as Andruw Jones, Wade Boggs, Rafael Palmeiro, etc. etc.
In the case for this Knoblach bat, the autograph looks good and does indeed look game issued as I see no visible ball marks so I would say its good. Last edited by Master Shake; 11-12-2014 at 07:09 AM. |

They are sloppy and strange, but seem to be honest. The generic COA's they provide are almost worthless, but if you pursue it, they will attempt to give you something more to your liking. Not only have they been friendly and helpful when I've asked about items, they have even gone out of their way to help explain an item that they didn't even sell to me. So do your homework in case they make a mistake, but I don't think honesty is an issue with them.

There are some big threads about them on GUF. Their "Game Used" Boggs bats didn't pass the smell test, something about 12-year old bats with still-sticky pine tar and the like. CD came on and blasted the people questioning them, which left a bad taste in many people's mouths, mine included. I've never dealt with them, but based on what I saw happen over there, if I see something with their COA, I move along.

I have wondered about the truthfullness of the celebs who sell to them. Signing a blank COA seems like not caring much about what gets written on it regarding the item.
Thanks for the update Ken. Sent from my SM-G730V using Tapatalk

I'm fairly new to the boards and haven't yet had many opportunities to help others in the same way, hope to have many to come.
Thanks!
