Casey was an effective pitcher for 4 big league teams over the course 9 seasons... He finished his career with a record of 75-42 having twice led his league in saves... He won 4 pennants in two leagues and was a world champ in his final mlb season (1949). Hugh cut his own life short in 1951 at the age of 1937 making his signature moderately tough...

These AP's all came from the collection of Margot Hayward of Westport CT: who passed last year... Margo. was an avid golfer, one of Connecticut's first female little league umpires. A rabid Dodgers fan, and became a Met's die hard in 1967. She attended every opening day at shea, made it to nearly half of their home games & was beloved in the front office for the special cookies she made for players and execs... She was also and employee of the national past time and SABR Member.

I recently acquired her autograph album and would like to share its contents with others!
