The Clean Sweep auction for the 'complete' set of Leader Novelty cards ended last night.
http://www.csauctions.com/item.cgi?show_item=0000338853 The fact that this group adds 13 cards to the list of known subjects (although my tally is actually 12) is incredible in my opinion...can anyone think of another instance of so large a percentage of previously unknown cards to have surfaced at once? I feel that Clean Sweep didn't promote this fact very well for the consigner. Although this is a very esoteric set with a currently limited collector base, I felt this should have been the headliner for this auction. What do you people think about the closing price of $5000 as well? And does anyone know who the two unnamed cards are in this lot? Seems like this info should have been researched/provided as well.
