I won twenty SGC graded cards from Mile High Auction - all came with large in-house inventory stickers on the upper back. Getting them off and cleaning the gummy substance out of the embossment on the holder was not easy. The removal liquid was applied several times for each holder with much rubbing. Also the liquid would tend to seep through the holder plastic plates and wet the black insert. Tired of doing this I decided have the final eleven reholdered. Dave Forman gave me a price of #5.00 each.
Here at the National I submitted the cards to be reholdered. I took the bill to Brian at Mile High to see if he would pay. He said "We don't do that anymore - I'm not paying the bill." |
