So I just got back into the hobby last month.Having been layed up post knee surgery the last 4 weeks with 4 more to go....well..I'm bored to say the least.I haven't been to a show in about 8 years and I'm in the mood to take in a little vintage "eye candy".to ease my boredom.Plus my wifes away to boot!I live about 2 hours distance from the show...is there enough there to make it worth my while or is it mostly post 1980?In general how are prices? My funds are low at this point.

There are usually 10-12 dealers with good prewar at the show, and lots of dealers with shiny stuff. I've normally been able to pick up several cards on my wantlist at each show. The best day to go is Friday because it's not overwhelmed by all the autograph people as it will be on Saturday and Sunday.
