Attachment 133490Recently bought this. Was wondering is someone could help with history, authenticity and value? I know condition is not great but I never seen it before and it caught my eye. Thanks in advance for any help

Positively fake and the value is equal to the value of the heat put off if you light it on fire.

I was asking because I wasn't sure about authenticity. When I purchased it is knew there was a chance that it was fake. I'm just not an expert in vintage candy bar wrappers. I bought it at a yard sale for $20 and figured I have no problem going to the casino and putting 20 in a machine for the chance to win or the chance to lose. Thought it was potentially a valuable and cool piece Oh well. Live and learn.
Can you maybe elaborate and tell me why it's fake? |

You are correct, I came off harsh. My apology for that. I bought a fake card for $600 in the last year with 0 hope of any refund. It was totally my fault. I only wish I could make a $2"0" mistake.
![]() At any rate, that wrapper is one of toughest ones to be sure of, as to authenticity, in the hobby. Honestly I am still not good at determining the really good fakes. I think I own a few now and am still investigating them. However, the wrapper in the original post is not anywhere close to looking legitimate. The whole thing is way, way too grainy looking. If you have seen enough real ones, or the really good fakes, then you immediately see the poorer quality in the printing of this one. It is way off.....That's why it took 1/2 a second to know.

One of those items in the hobby that's very rare, and when you see one it's likely a fake. Here's a couple threads from the past (the first one being particularly informative)....

I bought this at robert Edwards auction last year. It's a beautiful piece. This specific wrapper was the one discussed here in the forums as the "real" one. I matted and framed it

I literally stayed up all night for it. I think the auction was complete at 5 am. Totally worth it. Still cannot believe how nice it is. Do you have one?
