Default SOLD: Rittgers-like figures, two players, umpire

Admittedly, these are beyond my area of expertise. Some Internet searches show different variations of Rittgers figures. Quite honestly, the reason I didn't do more research is because each of these three figurines has been damaged and repaired, so I know the value is minimal. I am not sure these are Rittgers and have priced them accordingly as solely a display item and not a Ritttgers collectible. SEE UPDATE BELOW

The umpire has been broken and repaired near the bottom, and there are chips on his face. The batter's left foot has been broken and repaired. The catcher's right foot is cracked on the back and looks to have been repaired. All that said, because of the size of these (6 to 8 inches tall), they display well on a shelf. These come from a collection of a longtime hobbyist who was very active in the 1970s, '80s and early '90s, and he had them displayed with a number of other figural pieces.

If you're looking for some vintage figurals to complement a display, these will be perfect. If you're looking for pristine examples for a Rittgers collection, stay away.

Below is one, large photo that I think tells the story. If you'd like more photos or have specific questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Price is $xxx delivered.

PayPal is fine. No need to "gift" your payment. (Check, cash, money order also OK).

A commitment to buy takes precedence over an ongoing negotiation.

Feel free to email any questions.

Thanks,

Rob

I received an email last night from a collector on how to identify Rittgers figures:

If these are Rittgers, they will have embossed in small print on the on the outer right foot (of the pitcher) just above the sole of the shoe: “1941” “ Layfayette Rittgers”.

I was not able to find the identifying mark, so I'm selling these as a Rittgers knockoff and dropping the price to $30 delivered.

Thanks.
