FS:1907 World Series RPPC super rare
I've decided to let this one go. It's a super rare RPPC of the 1907 World Series between the Cubs and Tigers. For you deadball era enthusiasts you may recognize this photo as remarkably similar to the photo on the cover of "Deadball Stars of the American League", just taken from a slightly different angle. It has awesome baseball related content with the writer commenting about the size of the crowd and lamenting not being able to be there. Its postmarked from 1907 around the time of the series.

that looks like nearly the same exact shot that a guy i know has in panaromic ..... he found it in an attic.....fully original.....its close to that shot - the fans have plastic bags on their heads or something to protect from sun - i offered him a few thousand for it and he turned it down...but cool to see it in post card as im nearly certain thats the same shot or very close to it

Check out a similar postcard that sold with Robert Edwards in 2011 for $700
http://www.robertedwardauctions.com/.../2011/723.html Interesting that they described it as a 1906 postcard but it is clearly a similar shot and the written message on the postcard clearly refers to the 1907 World Series. In any case, its super cool and unique and I think well worth $495.
