Bump for the same question! I'll be in town for work in 2 weeks from Philadelphia and need something to keep me busy besides the bat museum "again". Any ideas?

Bucklers.....somersetvelvet on ebay. No store. Really only a single store in town East End Sportscards. 502.267.4477 I think on Shelbyville Road. Another store called the Sandlot off of Whipps Mill Road. Neither store has much vintage sadly. 1950's and 1960's Topps primarily......

Tom,
Did you ever visit Potato Man's back in the 1990s? Not much in the way of cards, as I remember, but I still have two Indians bobbin' heads in my collection that I bought there. |

Main Street Sports Cards recently opened downtown.
633 West Main Street Louisville, Ky. 40202 (502) 298-0695 I have not gone there yet, but his business card states that he has vintage. Contact the Bucklers, they have lots of vintage and may have what you are looking for. Chris posts on the board sometimes. Last edited by cliftons8; 08-15-2013 at 08:38 PM. I stopped by this shop last week. It is between the Louisville Slugger and Muhammad Ali Museums. Small shop, nothing vintage that I saw.

Rob,
I was a frequent customer of the Potato Man in the late 80's and early 90's. Bought a bunch of Exhibits from him.

In the day......There were maybe a dozen shops here. Good ones too. Potato Man's only closed maybe in the last 2-3-4 years. I think Chris and Kristen bought a bunch of his inventory. He had some interesting stuff over the years. In the heyday, he used to co-promote a show at a local mall (Bashford Manor) that was a great mall show. There were a couple other great vintage stores too.....Triple Play and Sad Sacks. But alas.....not anymore! Haven't been to Main Street yet. Don't get down there that much. Location could be good with Slugger Museum drawing 200K+ people per year but the rent ain't cheap on Main Street anymore......
