Help On This 1915 Red Sox Minstrel Show Advertisement
This piece came with the 1915 Red Sox team picture i mentioned in a previous post.
First, let me tell you i did not know what a Minstrel show was until today, and al i can say is WOW! to think the Red Sox were connected with a show like this, but i guess it was common in that time. Anyhow, this looks to be an advertisement for a show that was on April 30th 1915. In the paragraph is says that the Red Sox were going to attend and the highlight was going to be a movie showing Opening Day between the Red Sox and the Athletics.. Please look at all of the pictures.. do you know what if any value this has?
