I thought you were only allowed to link one Ebay account with one Paypal account. I just signed up for 3 new Ebay accounts and linked them all to the account I use daily. I had heard some flea marketers talking about having a dozen different accounts on Ebay. There is no way to police shill bidding if this is going to be the case...

I have 2 accounts linked to 1 Paypal account but the reason for this is that I sell cards and memorabilia on one and yard sale "treasures" on the other and I want to seperate the listings from each other.

That's actually to toughest way to "shill" on Ebay from what I've read. Ebay will shut you down quick if you are shilling from a related account, probably because it's the easiest to prove. They've been known to shut down or suspend unrelated accounts just because they've originated from the same address, such as an Apartment complex or multi-family house.
Doesn't stop somebody from setting up a Shilling account from a Library or some other remote location using false info, but it's something. Lots of people have also been using 1 account to buy with and another to sell with for years. |
