nice, Pinkerton Cobb was the one thing I was really considering. Great pickup, thought it went cheap.

Saw the OJ Wright went for $750 - I think that was a pretty good pickup for someone considering it had the "NL" designation on it. Surprised Legendary didnt include that in the description; it is even on the SGC slip...

If anyone here won the "1880s-1930s Vintage "Type Card" Collection (117 Different) Including Hall of Famers", let me know. There are 1 (maybe 2) minor cards I would be interested in.

Not only is Wright a tough HOF'er to get in the first place, the 1890 card only comes with one of his three poses and it is a lot easier to find the non-NL version of that card. So yes, that is a very tough card to find

Thanks Scott. Wish I put in another bid on the Wilbert Robinson OJ, that went too cheap. Someone got a great buy on that

I acquired the underwood and underwood 1915 photo of game 2
of the world series between Boston and Philadelphia. Great dynamic between the 2 catchers. Grover Cleveland Alexander lost this one. all the best, barry |

The buyer of the Wrights CDV got a steal IMHO. Also, the T210 Stengel went for a pretty affordable price. Where did the PM1 Ruth pinback end up?

I don't know why Legendary thought it might be a CDV. I don't think so... Maybe once a large composite? The card size itself is fairly big so it would need to be pretty big.

I bought the Walter Johnson 1908 postcard. I thought it was a special piece. I like the idea of the Big Train sitting down and writing a postcard to his friend after a win. It was only a few months into his second big league season. Signed Walter J.

As for me, I came away with the 1915 PM1 Eppa Rixey and the 1942 Musial press photo. I had looked, but never found, an online image of the Rixey pin until this auction! Very happy to get it for relatively cheap. I was certainly willing to pay significantly more for it. http://www.legendaryauctions.com/Lot...ntoryid=154424

Very special Johnson piece, Packs--congrats! I got some great stuff, including Walter's autographed 50th birthday menu "scorecard" and the scored program from his 110th and final shutout game, one of the few records that is guaranteed to never be broken, plus some terrific Senators pieces. What a smorgasbord for Washington collectors this was, from the Kent Feddeman collection. Don't know about the cards, but I thought this was a real buyer's auction on the memorabilia side, lots of "bargains" to be had.

It was cut from a larger composite which had quite a few photos on it.

Second time I've owned this one -- paid about nearly 4x what I paid for it the first time. Not sure that's a sustainable business model, but I am quite pleased to have this Doyle back in my collection.

I was watching a few E107 lots, and was surprised by the final prices on some. I thought the Wagner would've gone higher than it did. A SGC 40 sold for $133,000 6 years ago, and with this being the highest graded card in the hobby, I was thinking around $175K.
The type 2's didn't seem to generate a lot of interest either. Just my opinion, Tony |

Same thinking here - it has no advertising on either the front or the back, so doubtful it's a cdv, or a card.

The Legendary auction style is sort of like musical chairs. I ended up with the 2 items I most wanted going in, but would have bid on alot of other stuff knowing now what they sold for after the fact. I thought the Gerhardt was a card I could win going in, and it turns out I could have/should have won it.

If the winner of the Legendary lot of 30 sepia HOF postcards would be willing to part with the Chadwick, I would be willing to pay $100 for it. My e-mail address is: vguerrerobb@yahoo.com
