Old Rawlings Baseball Glove
I just bought this glove this morning from a flea market. It is in very nice condition. The leather is very supple and great shape. It has a great look to it. I do have a few questions though. Specifically, what type of glove it is. Maybe a first basement? and age/era. I couldnt what it said on the front/palm.
The back has a tag and I believe it says Rawlings. Anyone who knows gloves, please help me out. An evaluation would be greatly appreciated. Ben

Looks like you can faintly see "SLER" at bottom of palm....I would bet it's a George Sisler Model.
