Edmondson or Edmundson? 1898 baseball

This is a copy out of the 1898 University of Kansas yearbook. I think the one player Edmondson went pro and played for the Washinton Senators although the spelling of his name in the yearbook then I have seen when I pull him up at the majors. However it does say that he died and is buried in Lawrence. This has to be the same guy?

Does anyone have any information on him they can share?
