I recently started collecting single signed baseballs from HOFers and my next purchase will likely be a Puckett. A recent ball popped up with a BIN of 175 which is actually reasonable compared to other balls of the same caliber that are priced at $400+. Could anyone explain why there would be such a difference in price considering the quality of the signature is good, the only thing I see different is the writing of his name, [I]Kirby Puckett[I], on the reverse, but is that going to make such a drastic change in price? Any knowledge or opinions are much appreciated. Thanks!
